Adapted for Elite Physiotherapy Injury Atlas, September 2026: selected musculoskeletal and peripheral/spinal nerve structures; applied transforms and modifiers; converted axes; split assigned polygon materials; quantized normals; packaged binary geometry with gzip. No pathological changes are included. Source object names and material assignments are retained in atlas.json. The importer is scripts/import-z-anatomy.py in the project source.

The selected subset excludes organs, brain, cranial nerves and sense organs, including the separately credited noncommercial kidney and inner-ear assets. Definitions and application code were not imported. The publisher does not provide per-object authorship; see the import review for the limits of provenance verification.

The atlas.json catalogue links every downloadable adapted binary file. You may copy and adapt these assets, including commercially, subject to attribution and ShareAlike. These terms cover the adapted anatomy assets; they do not purport to relicense independent clinic text or software. No endorsement by the original authors is implied.

ACL comparison adaptation: the viewer can generate a schematic complete-tear variant from the left ACL surface, adding separated tapered strands and procedural tissue shading. The derived geometry is also CC BY-SA 4.0. The source catalogue remains intact reference anatomy. Tear location, gap and fibres are illustrative, not clinically validated. Reproduction code: src/acl-example.ts.

October 2026 shoulder subset: extracted 32 right-shoulder structures without changing vertex positions or triangle indices. Normals are recomputed for rendering. Three.js materials and Blender lighting were adjusted; no anatomical shape or muscle-bulk modification was made. Deltoid-hidden views hide all three deltoid portions and their material-split tendon surfaces solely for inspection. No injury geometry is included. This adaptation and its anatomy renders remain CC BY-SA 4.0. See audit.json and shoulder.json for part-level provenance.

Further shoulder adaptation, October 2026: an illustrative bursal-sided partial defect is built within a linearly subdivided, unchanged normal supraspinatus source envelope. The inferred distal tendon region is constrained by the full source's own `Supraspinatus muscle.er` insertion annotation; its tissue boundary and pathological shape are explicitly educational assumptions. Other source geometry is unchanged. Additional native regional thorax context is extracted unchanged from the same pinned Z-Anatomy source cohort. All derived anatomy assets remain CC BY-SA 4.0.

Additional October 2026 shoulder variants: focal full-thickness opening made by boolean subtraction through the same inferred distal tendon envelope, and bounded illustrative distension of the named source subacromial/subdeltoid bursa envelopes. Defect boundaries, dimensions and swelling magnitudes are educational assumptions; no clinical certification is claimed. Native non-target anatomy remains unchanged. These derived anatomy assets remain CC BY-SA 4.0.

October 2026 partial SASD-space candidate: the rounded source bursa envelopes above are historical and remain withheld. A new synthetic partial upper SASD teaching patch is guided by unchanged source cuff/humerus and bony/CAL landmarks, with explicit deltoid omission, incomplete attachment/extent claims and illustrative thickness. See [candidate source and modification notice](../sasd-illustrative-oct8/NOTICE.md). The full-condition selector remains held.
